You should have your dome completed before you start this next step.  As with everything you do on the wheel you will want to use an undercut to remove your dome..  Make a template for your door and decide which side you want your door to be on.  Lay your template up against the clay and with a ball tipped metal tool you need to make the shape of your door.  Next you will take your Exacto blade and go along the line. This will give a door for your toad to go in and out. Look for an image that you like to decorate this door and place it directly on the clay around the door.  Through the paper you will lightly press the design into the clay in preparation for your next step, slip trailing.
